What is the temperature of the Adriatic Sea throughout the year?

The Adriatic Sea has a marked change of surface temperature through the year. The average temperature during one year is 11ºC. During the winter the surface temperature is around 7ºC. In the spring the sea temperature grows to 18ºC. In the summer it reaches as high as 22 to 25ºC, in the southern Adriatic and in Istra even as high as 27ºC. It is important to mention Thermo climes that are levels of the water with the same temperature. They are most perceptible during the summer when the first thermo clime is found at a depth of 3 to 5 m, the next at around 12 m, then at 18 m, while at depths over 30 m the temperature is mostly constant throughout the entire year.
