What are the great geographical regions in Croatia and what territory do they cover?

There are three great geographical regions in Croatia. The Panonnian-Peripanonnian Croatia includes Baranja, Slavonska Podravina, Đakovo and its environs, Western Srijem, Brodska Posavina, Požega and its environs, Središnju zavalu, Croatian Zagorje, Upper Podravina, Međimurje, Banovina, Kordun and the Karlovac Karst. Highland Croatia includes the Ogulin-Požega Basin, Gorski kotar and Lika. Maritime Croatia includes Istra, the Maritime Kvarner, the Velebit Foothills and North, Middle and South Dalmatia.
